Do people tend to have an accurate perception of their own image?

You only see what you believe is true, what ever you believe your mind will then edit your reality to make it appear that way. The truth is there is no accurate perception of a person, there is only peoples different subjective versions of what that person is, based on their own belief system. Think of how peoples opinion of you can change when they witness you behave in a certain way, you didn't change at all, but their opinion of you changed completely.
