My ankles always make a loud clicking sound with each step & turn black & blue after i run with moderate pain?

I'm 25 now and I've been dealing with this since I was 15. The sound is very sharp, as though the very bone were cracking in half. it pisses me off. The problem is when the noise first started getting very noticeable i saw a doctor, had x-rays taken and was told there was really nothing wrong... nothing was explained to me. Well a decade later they are still snapping. and something is clearly wrong. My question is are there any runners out there that deal with this. because i love to run... but after my runs they hurt a lot and turn black and blue. What can i do to remedy this? the shoes aren't a problem i have the air max fly wires with dr. scholls gel insoles as i thought maybe all the cushioning would help some. are there ankle supports out there or something to take some of the pressure / weight off ? i really don't want to stop running.

We have our final baby on the waynow and he says hes excited. but i almost feel as if I am replacing the situation for him. Is it possible hes content with her decision to adopt and their relationship was really just him trying to feel better?

I've been hurt so many times in the past by guys who ditched me for other guys. That's why I'm kind of surprised to say that it looks like I've done the same to my friend. Here is a question that I have and something I never quite understood. What the heck is "not black enough"? I don't really like to get into race that much in these contexts but I will say this. The color of someones skin does not determine their lifestyle or their personality. I think our country has made tremendous strides over the years to diversify by allowing legal (and illegal but that is a different story) immigrants to come to the U.S. Our immigration policies (the legal policies that is) is one of our country's strengths because we allow different people with different backgrounds to live here. Bernard Hopkins is a fool and obviously he has issues that he needs to deal with. Donovan McNabb (although not the best QB in the NFL anymore) has probably taken more heat and verbal abuse than any athlete in the NFL. I have heard nasty things said about Ben Rothlisberger, Mike Vick, but McNabb is taking shots unnecessarily and I don't think he deserves it. He is a classy player, and I don't understand the vitriol that comes from people like Hopkins. My thought on this is, lets leave race out of the equation, and focus on more important things.

I know that sounds bad, but I am very experienced with kids, and I know what I would be getting myself into, my family fosters children, and I know just about all of the tricks, because I care for most of the younger ones. hey so my names Shelby and I'm 14 years old, & I weight 107.4 lbs. All my life, everyone always called me skinny, and gave me nicknames like "skinny Minnie" or "stick". Wanting to breastfeed my 2nd child. Any advice on how to have success this time around?

I have a 2 1/2 year old son and I attempted to breastfeed him when he was born. I gave him nothing but breast milk and did not offer any of it in a bottle. However, my breast milk took what felt like forever to come in and at around 5 days old he became very dehydrated and I was forced to give him formula. I attempted to continue breastfeeding while bottle feeding but eventually I gave up at 5 weeks because my breast milk just didn't seem to be enough food for him. I don't think my milk ever fully came in and the poor little guy was starving. I'm now currently 24 weeks pregnant and really want to avoid formula altogether. Is there anything I can do to encourage my breast milk to come in faster? I'm barely a B cup, would this have anything to do with me not being able to produce much milk? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Pia ! You've been through an awful lot dear ! There are good medicines today to help with the bipolar and depression. I would see the counselor. It's up to you if you want to mention the cutting to the counselor. They may refer you to a psychiatrist to get a professional diagnosis and medicines. Once you are more stable, they will start Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help overcome the traumas of the past, flashbacks, and quality of life improvement. This is definitely the path you should take to get better, and have a normal life. It will take some time to find the right medicine mix for you, as everyone is different. The cutting is an emotional release, and as long as you keep the cuts clean and minor, then the impact should be relatively small. Dogs can't be vegetarian. They're carnivores by nature. If you don't feed him right, he'll probably die soon, or the first time he gets a disease. Make him pee only out of the house, and if he pees inside the house, leave him outside for ten minutes. In fact, leave him outside for a few minutes every time he does something wrong. He won't learn anything on his own, no matter how much time it takes, and he eats anything during walks because he's not being fed right. Dogs aren't omnivores, they can't be vegetarian, or they will suffer and get sick. He spreads stuff around the house to play, but he needs to learn that he can't do that, so leave him outside for a while. The cylindrical cushion won't make him aggressive, but you should buy him a chew-toy. You shouldn't spank him, unless he doesn't learn from staying outside, but spanking him all the time WILL make him aggressive. Alternative to going barefoot?

I am a cross country runner who trains without shoes because it makes my shins feel better. Recently my coach told me the athletic director said we have to wear shoes on the team. There are no rules in the handbook that say anything about this. Should i ask the ad about it? Or are there any suggestions for something else to wear? And please don't say wear big, cushioned shoes because i have tried a bunch of different models that were supposed to correct the problem.

Weight loss help pronto!!?

I need to lose weight. I'm not obese at all. I am about 5'7' - 5'8' and I weight about 175. I have tried everything I can but nothing works. I do not drink any beverage that has sugar in it. Including orange juice and alcohol. This is because I am a type 1 diabetic. I must lose 25 pounds if I am to be at a healthy weight in order to better manage my diabetes. It might not seem like it to others, but my doctor even says that I need to lose the weight. I limit my portion sizes and eat whole wheat breads(as I have always done since birth!!). Last month I worked out 5 days a week for an hour on my tread climber. But, I didn't lose any weight. And I mean nothing!!!!!!! If you think my workouts aren't at a high enough intensity I either walk 2.5 miles, run 1.5 miles, or I use the tread climber part and walk at 2.0-2.5 mph until I burn 500 calories (roughly 45-60 minutes). By no means is my body used to this seeing as how I alternate my goals and workout daily in order to encourage my body to just "Let GO" of the fat.

I live with my mom, grandma and younger brother. My younger brother is never home and I don't blame him because being at home is hell. We're not the most loving family. We're very cold towards each other (We don't say I love you, spend quality time, and we don't really talk to each other) which doesn't really bother me as much anymore. What does bother me is that my mom and grandma are constantly bickering and complaining. New kitten. Trained to go on news paper but not litter box?

I got a new kitten yesterday! My brothers girlfriend had cats so she gave me a kitten. We live in an apartment so for now the 6 week old kitten stays in my room i bring him around the rest of the apartment but supervised. I went a bought him a litter box litter food collar etc. But I left some newspaper beside the litter box incase. He has gone to the toilet evertime on the newspaper which is fine but a pain to clean up. I tried putting newspaper in the litter box and some litter on the newspaper hes going on but it hasnt worked yet. ( i know ive only had him a day but i want him to go in the litter box asap) any suggestions what i can do? We adopted Duke on mothers day of last year. He was 7 years old at the time and no one knew where he had come from or his history. No matter how much food he has, even if we make sure he has food in his bowel 24 hours a day, he will hide snacks and food EVERYWHERE. We had given him a ham bone and he stuffed it between the cushions on our love seat (which only he sits on) he has hidden his doggy treats in my son's laundry basket, he stole pizza crusts from the garbage and hid them under my daughters dresser and no matter what time of day, if you pick up his blanket on our bedroom floor, it will have 2 cups of dry food hidden in the folds. He carries them in his mouth, clear across the house to bury them in his blanket. Is it fine for a Pomeranian puppy to be left outside for six hours a day if it has its crate, plenty of food,lots of water,and a huge undercover area to provide shade,somebody to come in and feed it? I live in a moderate climate. My garden has a secure locked fence and all plants toxic to dogs have been destroyed. my three-wheeler has a single person, cushioned seat with no harness, a 67cc Sachs snowmobile engine with a centrifugal clutch on it, and it has a roll cage for the engine, it has a wheelie wheel on it, it does have a differential. the front of it is like any chopper you see, 2-inch pipe connecting the front to the back. the front wheels have shocks. it uses a snowmobile throttle. it does have, or is going to have, a kill switch on the handlebars, but needs a starter rope to start. it rides about a foot off the ground. the front end does have foot pegs. the handlebars are less than 30 inches above the seat. i just want to know what i have to do to it to make it street-legal in Washington.

When I say that I mean overall and currently. Id say overall, it's Moss. Even though Owens has better stats, he's only really significantly beating Moss in receptions, and yards and TDs, Moss is very close behind. And don't forget that Owens also came in the league two years ahead of Moss which gave him a better chance at stats. If they had come into the league at the same time, Moss probably would be beating Owens in most major receiving categories. I feel Moss was also a very important catalyst to his teams succes. Such as when with Vikings, he helped Culpepper have one of the best seasons a QB ever had and helped revatilze Randall Cunningham's career. With the Patriots, he helped Brady have a record breaking season and a SB appearance, and broke some records himself. Owens was no slouch either, he did help San Franc. QBs and gave the Eagles the threath they had been lacking for McNabb for a while and finally allowed them to get over the Championship hump, but I still feel Moss did more. Currently, Owens is the better one because he had a much better season than Moss, but I feel Moss can rebound again like with the Patriots trade and have a better season than Owens next year. When looking to book a hotel or B&B for holidays in England it very often announces "pets welcome". I assume this to mean live animals. Surely this is against the law? I would have thought that persons with pets would go for caravan or chalet holidays where pets would be left outside in a shed, cage or kennel as they would at their own homes? I'm in ROTC, well i'm contracted but it's the summer before my freshman year. so i've been doing optional PT with the other cadets. Usually only a handful show up. Wednesday the 2 cadets i ran with were both guys, well over six foot, and i'm a 5'7 girl who's 4 years younger than them. so they had longer and stronger legs than me. after i chased them 2 miles up a hill and sat on the sidewalk puking they informed me they were both on the college track team. wtf?! anyways, no surprise my legs are killing me today (this happened yesterday) but there's another training session tomorrow. How do I deal with my boyfriend's strange relationship with his Father?

My boyfriend and I have been together 2 years, July 4th is our anniversary actually. We are both 25 years old. My boyfriend is highly educated but is very dependent on his father sometimes financially but mostly emotionally. For example: he recently failed an insurance licensing exam, instead of coming to me and talking to me (we live together) he ran to the phone and called his dad and talked to him for over an hour about it. Any time anything bad happens in his life he instantly runs to his dad for advice. I honestly dont think he can make any serious decisions on his own without his fathers input. His father also encourages this behavior, he will call/text me some mornings (especially if he knows my bf has an important appointment or meeting in the morning) and ask me if my bf is up and getting ready, like it is really his duty to wake him up every morning. I feel like my bf and I should be in a partnership and we should be able to navigate through our lives together ON OUR OWN without wondering what his dad thinks or wants. Right now it feels like he and his father are in the partnership and Im like second fiddle. We recently moved out of state from his family and mine (because of his job) and I thought it would make things better and his dad would back off a little. It really hasnt changed anything though.
